This Very Interesting vintage piece includes seven cabochons of .25″ – Black Chalcedony, Gaspeite, Malachite, Lapis, Star Ruby, Black Opal and Howelite.  Gaspeite is not a well known mineral.  In the last two decades this rare and quite unfamiliar material has found its way into the lapidary and jewellery industry, particularly in southwestern American Jewellery.
