Steel Cut Beads were raging in the early 1800s to the early 1900s. ?They glowed religiously by candlelight. ?This sweet little change purse is in mint vintage condition. ?Pinwheel pattern of steel cut beads circles the bottom and sides. ?The repousse lid featuring a beautiful Art Nouveau lady circled in flowers still snaps open perfectly with the well fitting latch. ?The patent pending on the inside reads December 1903. ?A stellar piece of Victorian/Edwardian history.
